We entered from this side, but were not allowed
to take pictures inside. Isn't Alan cute?
Here is the front of the house - did you know that Monticello
is pictured on the back of every nickel? It was a very
interesting home. Thomas Jefferson was really ahead of
his time. Interesting inventions and things throughout.
Phillip and Melody Day (on left) were super hosts. We
stayed at their apartment in Charlottesville. Melody sang
at Todd and Kathy's wedding. We had not seen her since 1987!
NEXT we were on to Colonial Williamsburg (see next page).
Virginia is chock full of all kinds of history!
