RUBBA SLIPPA'S

My rubba slippa is one good friend of mine,
When I walk on hot pavement it helps me take my time.
My good old rubba slippa I think its really neat,
The bugga it help for to protect my feet.
I like my rubba slippa every single day,
I like my rubba slippa when I go outside fo play.
I need my rubba slippa for every step I go,
'Cause if I neva have em I would have to walk some slow!
Rubba slippa, rubba slippa, I love you in many ways,
You only cost 99 cents, but wow! you last for days!
Rubba slippa, rubba slippa, I love you till I die,
Because when I step kiawe, ey man , I still like cry!
The local kine store carry rubba slippa in all kine size,
And now days, even get rubba slippa dat give you 2 inch high rise!
And now days, come in all kine colors too,
So everyone can wear them, whether they black, white, or blue!
Some haole's call them slip ons, and some say Jap flap,
But I still call them rubba slippa, and I  give the haole one slap.
Rubba slippa, rubba slippa, you do so good for me,
Especially when I stay camping, and I gotta make shi-shi.
Rubba slippa, rubba slippa, please no broke again,
'Cuz even if my bradda get two, he not going even lend.
So, rubba slippa, rubba slippa, please take care of us,
So we no get cut and our feet no get pus.
I hate for lose my rubba slippa, especially Downtown side,
Because everytime I walk down there my feet get cut and fried!
And when I go to parties and leave my slippa outside,
Somebody ALWAYS steals em, and take em for a joy ride.
And when I come outside all drunk and no more to much care,
I put on anybodies rubba slippa and get one color-koa pair!
Even my dog like my rubba slippa, so he can bite and chew,
And when I chase him for it, I everytime step his do-do.
And when I pau wash my feet, and catch my dog at last,
I grab my rubba slippa, and kick my dog's ass!

PLEASE DON'T BE OFFENDED BY SOME OF THE STUFF WRITTEN. I JUST WANTED TO SHARE WITH SOME OF YOU OUR HAWAIIAN SENSE OF HUMOR, THIS POEM IS NOT ONLY SO TRUE OF MANY LOCAL RESIDENTS IN HAWAII, BUT IT IS ALSO SO DARN FUNNY!!!!!!!! I HOPE THAT THIS POEM HAS MADE YOU LAUGH AS MUCH AS IT HAS ME. LOL!
