John Niblock (1804- 28 Dec.1866, age 62) a native of Co. Monaghan, Ireland, buried in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Sweet's Corners, Leeds Co., Ontario. He was a native of Co. Monaghan, Ireland,  and his wife Mary Ann Kenny (b. Aug. 3, 1816; d. Mar. 5, 1890).

"Monaghan, a county of Ireland, province of Ulster, bounded N by Tyrone, E by Armagh, and SE by East Meath and Louth, 30 m. long, and 19 broad, and containing 288,500 English acres, or 450 square miles, divided into 21 parishes. Although it is much encumbered with bogs and mountains, great portions of it are highly cultivated and improved the linen manufacture, which flourishes extensively, is the great staple."

This John Niblock appears to be the father of John Niblock b. 1804, who would have been age 13 in 1817.
