EASY FRUIT COBBLER

Cobblers are a fast easy dessert to prepare and always a hit.   You may use your favorite fruit.  Peach and  blackberry tend to be our favorite.   Use canned or fresh fruit.

1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup cream or milk
1 stick butter or margarine
16 ounces fruit (1 large can peaches)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Melt 1 stick butter in bottom of 9 x 12 baking pan or dish.

In large bowl mix flour, sugar, and milk together.  Pour this mixture over the butter in the baking dish.  Spoon fruit evenly over the batter in baking dish.

Bake until top is golden brown, about 35 to 45 minutes.

Serve as is, with ice cream, or pour milk over cobbler.
