EASTER BLESSINGS
This page is dedicated to all my wonderful friends whom I have met online. I want to thank them for all the help, love, good and bad times they have shared with me. They have been of help many times and have also understood when I have not had time to chat with them because of work I have been doing on my web sites. I just want them to know how much I value and appreciate their friendship. May this Easter Holiday bring many blessings to each and every one them. I ask the Lord to watch over them, to guard them, and send his angels to surround them with protection and love. I ask that they be filled with the Holy Spirit of our Lord always and walk in his footsteps.
This site is also dedicated to our Lord who has guided me and helped in the many writings which are here. It is through his directive and love that I am working on these pages. Because the Lord loves us so much, in return I wish to share his love with all who visit here. I gladly give him the honor and thank him for giving us the gift of Eternal life. It is during this Holiday season that we come to realize how much he has given to us. It is the time when we think about exactly what his crucifixation and resurection has meant not only in our lives, but to the world at large. Praise and thank him always.
On this Easter, we are reminded of Jesus' ultimate sacrifice. He died on a cross so that are sins would be forgiven. He died as the ultimate sign of His love for us. He made a change in His life for us. He sacrificed Himself for the good of all mankind. He then moved from earth into heaven.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3: 16-17)
AN EASTER PRAYER
Almighty God, Planner and Preserver of Your creation
thank You for Your only begotten Son,
conceived by the Holy Ghost
and born of the Virgin Mary.
While I solemnly observe the Easter season,
make me more fully aware of
how the life, death, and resurrection of Christ Jesus
completed Your perfect plan
for the salvation of Your children.
You chose me before the creation of the world,
and You provided that the ransom for my soul
be paid by the sacrifice of Your Son.
No man could fulfill your Law perfectly,
and no man could atone for the sins of one,
much less the sins of all
Therefore, You condescended and came into Your world
in the form of the Son,
to do what I could never do for myself.
Let me be truly thankful for Your gift of salvation by grace,
and help me live in a manner expressing my gratitude to You.
As Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven
where He now lives and rules with You
raise me from the death of apathy
and grant me lofty thoughts and action
to answer Your call.
