My Gift to You
The best Christmas gift of all comes from God. He is offering you "Salvation." At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus who was a gift to us all from God, a gift of his son. Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that we may have eternal life. I can not think of a more wonderful gift than that. How precious was our Lord Jesus and yet he made the ultimate sacrifice with his live because of the love for his people. All he asks in return is for us to believe in him and follow in his ways. "For by GRACE are you saved through faith, it is a gift of God not of works lest any man should boast" Ephesians 2:8-9.

Maybe you are unsure of becoming a Christian. Maybe you feel God won't forgive you for all the sins you have committed during you life. You are wrong, God does and wants to forgive us our sins. We have all sinned and come short of his glory, yet he still loves us and forgives us. Why not ask God into your life? Make a committment to our Lord. He is waiting to welcome you, arms stretched wide to accept you into his fold. Give yourself the best Christmas present ever by accepting God into your life. If you are unsure of how to pray or don't know what to say just say the following prayer and ask God to lead you.
Father, we come to you with a grateful heart. We know we are
all sinners and ask your forgiveness for our sins. We ask for guidance
as we begin our spiritual journey and ask that you fill our hearts with
your love. Lord, we seek your word. Father, fill us with your
knowledge, allow us to understand your written word so we may share our
faith with others. Lord, we dedicate our lives to you and will try
always to follow in your footsteps. Help us Lord, we need your wisdom,
your love, your guidance as we walk the path of Christianity. We
ask for your protection against evil and that you surround us with your
Holy Spirit. We thank you Lord for what you are about to do in our
lives and give the praise and glory to you most High. Thank you for
your love, your acceptance and forgiving our sins. Amen.
