In the name of God, Amen, I Richard Woolley being of sound mind and memory, but knowing the uncertainty of human events do make and constitute this my last Will and Testiment. First, I will that my body be buried in a Christian like manner, Second that my just debts be paid, third that my plantation and land, stock of horses, cattle, hogs, and all my other personal estate shall belong to my wife during her life, Fourth I give and bequeath to my son John, daughter Betsy, son Berry, daughter Sally, daughter Peggy, son Levi, son Zadach, son Afsa, and daughter Nancy one schilling each to be paid them respectively at my death, Fifth I will that at my Wife's death the whole of my estate both real and personal be equally divided between my three youngest children to witt: Reason, Vardiman and Basil, Sixth I do appoint and constitute John Stevens Sr., Robert Brown and Jesse Lee Executors to this my last Will and Testiment. In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal the 2nd day of January 1812 and the thirty sixth year of American Independence.
