In a deed dated Jan. 21, 1805 his wife Elizabeth and George Shackelford sold land to Mary McConnel; Elizabeth relinquished her dower right and "Hezakiah" signed. He witnessed the sale of land by his brother John in October, 1808. He sold land to his brother William in October, 1818.
