The Scriptural Rosary
The Scriptural Rosary
combines the regular recitation of the rosary, with passages from scripture,
said before each HailMary. The scripture passages evolve so
that the story of each mystery, or decade, unfold on a bead by bead basis.
The passages also tie into the meditation given before the decade.
It is a great aid for meditating on the mysteries.
Each decade is composed of the standard:
Our Father, ten Hail Marys and the Glory Be. The decade finishes
with the Fatima prayer, O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the
fires of hell and lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need
of Your mercy.
A meditation and a prayer intention begins
each decade.
