There once was a little Geisha..her name was Kiko she was a shy nice little girl..and although she was brought up with the very strict background of the Chinese traditions..she always had dreams for the better of her people..
Her parents were kind and sweet people..but the ruler of their country was a harsh and cruel man..he was a dictator of strong and hard ruling..and no one would disobey him for any reasoning..so many were put into the deep catacomb jails..that wound underneath the city..so this was a rule..you had to listen..be very polite..and obey!!
The true Christian religion was strictly forbidden and against the rules in her little city..and many would hide to pray..she did not always understand why..but her parents tried to explain to her that the ruler wanted all of the peoples of his land to worship him..they would just have to pretend they were like many others..to worship the ruler..but Kiko's parents made it very clear that God in Heaven was their true ruler..and he was the only one to worship
Years went by and Kiko grew into a beautiful young lady..she was very smart and did well in her schooling..and a day did not go by that she did not pray to the Lord Jesus Christ..and during the years of torture and hard rule..she met and found that she liked a young Samurai warrior..knowing only that he was a kind and just person..she knew this would be the one to share her life with..
She knew that the young man would come to ask permission to see her from her parents..as the long awaited day arrived..when the young warrior came to call her parents were very polite..and did all the correct things to make the young man comfortable..
Upon his departure Kiko's parents were very sweet but also sad to tell Kiko that this man could not possibly come to see her again..he was the sun of the harsh ruler..and that there could never be a life for the two..
Kiko was broken hearted..what could she do but listen and obey her parents..she sure did not want to give any disrespect to them..
Months went by and people were being taken from their homes for nothing of importance to never be seen again..people of the little city were so frightened to say or do anything..and the months were of torture for everyone including Kiko's family..her father had been reported to be a Christian..so therefore he must be taken away..with tears and fear in Kiko's heart..she bit her father good bye..
In the weeks that followed Kiko and her mother made baskets to help with the extra money needed to survive..and Kiko would work long and hard hours..and each day go to the market to sell her wares..some days she sold all her baskets..other days she could not sell a one..and with a heavy heart she continued to pray for her father each day for his safe return home..
It had been nearly a year now..and everyone heard of the news that the mean and cruel ruler was sick and taken to his bed..so many of the people were so worried for the ruler..but Kiko and her mother only prayed for the ruler to have a easy heart in his last days..and to realize that there was only one God..
Within time the ruler passed away from this world..and his son..the nice Samurai took his place to rule..he was kind..thoughtful of the people..and tried to make up for the loss and hurt his father had put upon his people in the years as the worst ruler of time in their little city..now that he was ruler he made it clear that all peoples were of one God..and those who chose to pray to the Lord God could do so..without any fear of retribution of any kind..
During this time when Kiko went to the market to sell her baskets..she saw the kind ruler..and he was very pleased to see Kiko again..he asked if he may come by her home to ask permission to see her..and she said Yes..now times had changed..her father was no longer there..and although tradition was strong she would have to make some choices in her life now..and one would be to see the young ruler..
On the day of his arrival Kiko put her best Kamono on and with his knock on the door..her mother politely opened the door to her suprise not seeing the young ruler..but her dear and lost husband..what a wonderful and joyous occasion to have him home again..everyone was so happy..they did not notice the young ruler standing in the door..with much surprise..Kiko looked at this kind man..and said "miracles do happen"..over the years they were together and never parted..raised a family and had a long and properous life together..and all with the love of Christ in there hearts..
