I am researching my husband's Palumbo family line and have little
information on them. His great-grandfather was Michael Palumbo who was
born in Italy in the Bari area. He married Antoinette (last name not
known). They lived in Bronx, New York and were landlords of a three
family building at 540 E. 145th Street, between St. Ann's Avenue and
Brook Avenue. Michael Palumbo died around 1935 or 1936. They had three
children born in the following order:
1. Leo Palumbo
2. Dominick Palumbo Born 9/16/10 in Bronx, New York
Died 1988 in Buffalo, New York. My husband's grandfather.
3. Angelo Palumbo
Leo Palumbo married (spouse unknown) and had four children: Michael Palumbo, John Palumbo, Marie Palumbo, and Unknown Palumbo.
Dominick Palumbo married Maria a/k/a Margaret Fariello born August 6, 1908 (who lived in his building) and had a son Donald Palumbo (my husband's father) born 9/17/35 in Bronx, New York. Donald Palumbo married Rose Frances Simonetti in 1955 (they reside
n Hopatcong, New Jersey) and they had two children, Donald Michael Palumbo and Christine Palumbo-Ciaccio. Dominick and Maria a/k/a Margaret Fariello divorced after a few years of marriage Dominick moved to Buffalo, New York. Maria a/k/a Margaret Fariello-
alumbo married John Celli and remained in the Bronx. They had no children.
Angelo Palumbo married an English woman named Maureen and served in the WWII. They had two children, names unknown. Angelo Palumbo's last residence might have been Edison, New Jersey and the last of his family was known to be in Florida. Angelo suffered a
hand wound while in the military.
If you have any information on this Palumbo family and would like to share family information, please e-mail me at [email protected]. Thank you!!

I have been searching for any Boltraliks from Central Europe for over 25 years without
ANY success at all. I have searched hundreds of Internet Surname Geanological Databases and still have not found a "single" BOLTRALIK listing.
I am specifically looking for families and decendants of Vincentii Boltralik who had four sons (Michael, Vladislav, Felix, Alexander) and a daughter Pauline. Also looking for families and decendants of Walter Boltralik and Antoni (Anthony) Boltralik. I
hink the families may have lived in the towns of Vol 'Ko-Kazepnaya; Wolka (or Volka or Wulka); Spokken; Brsesowka; Sopochin or Sopotskin; Suwalki; Livania - in Poland, White Russia (Belerus), or Russia. Spelling of these towns may not be accurate and are
not probably spelled correctly in Polish.
The Boltralik Family Heritage is, unfortunately, at a total dead end.

had. I am looking only for the truth. I want nothing, except the truth. As an adoptive parent, I understand why really doesn't matter. I know that times were different. Hiding what was felt to be too painful , was how things were handled in the early 50
s. I just seek to know the truth. If this is so I hope too set others free. I did okay, I had good parents. They are gone, I need no others. But truth is a thing that I value. Please if you know anything that can help know, I want no one to feel tha
I would enter their life. I have been blessed with the family that God had intended for me to have. JUst know that it is truth, I seek.
