One of the most beloved and

admired figures of the world of dolls.

Mrs. Mildred Seeley

was a doll author, doll maker, doll teacher,

antique doll collector and

pioneer in the doll industry.

She founded the firm Seeley's,

the Doll Artisan Guild,

(an organization for doll makers) and

the Doll Artisan magazine.

She authored more than 25 books about dolls.

She promoted doll collecting and doll making

around the world.

She passed away on December 2001at the age of 82 years.
