He escaped Russia, went through Shanghai, rode the Victoria ship, anded in the Philippines, married my grandmother who is from Mindanao, went into mining, and he died in 1953.

Hello! I am trying to find a lost family member from Russia. Her name is Tamara Voronoff, born perhaps in 1915(?) in Vladivostok. Father is Voronoff, mother is Helen Vasilievna born in 1896. Tamara Voronoff has a half-brother, George Bishop Holmes, who is now 80 years old and is my grandfather. He has spent much of his life trying to find her, and when Helen died, we found many letters from Tamara written to George that their mother had never given to him...she had separated the children and they never saw each other again after childhood. I hope if Tamara Voron ff is still alive we can perhaps reunite them before my grandfather dies. My grandfather, George B. Holmes, now lives in the USA in California. Thank you for any help you can give, Spencer Holmes PO Box 1281 Brentwood CA 94513 USA [email protected]

Hello and thank you. I'm writing from New York State in America. I hope you can understand my English. My great grandfather Samuel anc, a Hungarian worked as a station master for the Hungarian Railroad. I don't know if he worked for the national railroad or a regional railro d but I believe he worked in Munkacs, Hungary (now Mukachevo, Ukraine) between the years 1887 and 1904. What stations exist now from the Munkacs (Mukachevo) area and who has records of station masters from the years 1880 through 1904? I would like to see if either Hungary or the Ukraine has any record of his employment. I want to get as much information as I can, including his home address at point of employment. He left Hungary around 1904. He got born Jul 2, 1865 in Hungary and died Jul 10, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. She got born Jan 4, 1865 and died on Jan 12, 1942 in NY, NY USA. When anyone does a search of his name look for the possible various spellings of his first and last names please. First name: Samuel, Shmuel, Sam, Sami, Samo, Samu Last name: anc, Schanz, Schantz, Shants, Shantz Samuel and Sara Schanz had 7 children: Anna, Mendel, Abram, Frieda, Miriam, Helen, and Esther. The eldest Anna born in 1887 in Munkacs and the youngest Abram born 1900 in Munkacs. All born in Munkacs. Samuel's parents names: Max and Jennie (Gold) Schanz. Sarah's parents names: Abraham and Golda (Mirel) Greenstein. I also seek a researcher who has acces to the Zakarpatskaya State Archives 4 Heroev Pl.
