Dear Diary,
I'm still trying to get to the bottom of this mystery. There are too many clues. The plot has not only thickened, it has become opaque. And that Kelli won't give an inch on sending me that box. Meanwhile little-miss-butter-wouldn't-melt-in-her-mouth weesaviolet is still talking baby talk and keeping pretty mum about what's in her garage. Don't tell me she doesn't know which way the toona is swimming.
Officer Leopod has vanished. The fool. How dare he! The last place he was seen was with me at Madame Alto's Cat House. Let me assure you, I had nothing to do with his disappearence! Oh, I know I am a suspect but...he was kinda cute in a bumbling way. And I guess I'm just a softy for bright green eyes. I hope he surfaces soon.
I've not seen Otto either since he offered to take me for a ride in his dashing uniform and clashing purple Rolls. I hear he is really kissing up to Kelli. In fact I understand he really thinks she is the cat's meow. (Some toms don't understand the concept of MATURITY!)
Meanwhile Katt Sass, private eye is planning a rondevous with me at Chez Fungus. I thought I'd dress in my jaunty jungle outfit to match the spirit of adventure this caper has taken on. (Of course it's polyester, darling. I am not a cannibal.)
For some insane reason he wants me to come in my "Aunt Tilly" outfit. Sigh. So like a tom. You just can never tell what will turn them...er, I mean...please them. Oh well....Chason a son gut....I sure am thankful that we're getting an intimate table in a quiet corner; after all I do have an image to maintain.
I know I have been criticized for my many flirtations with the opposite sex, especially those who may be "taken" by another kitty, but I have done nothing to be ashamed of. It's all in good fun and harmless. Hey, just because you're not planning to eat in the restaurant, there's no harm in looking at what's on the menu!
Bam! Bam! Knock! Knock! Knock! Thump! Crash!
(My heart did another nosedive - this was even worse than the previous sound of doom!)
