(I can't believe she had the nerve to show up.) What is she babbling about...?
Hellooooo, Daisy! I am finally here, after having searched for and not finding
my invitation! I know there was one, although I did not see it.(And I know when there is a skunk around even though I may not see it.)
And as you see, I have dressed to the teeth fur the occasion! You know how
important a little black dress is, and mine seem to have shrunk a bit, so I had
the Royal Designer throw this one up on the Royal Sewing Machine fur me.
(It's a wonder we're not all throwing up on the Royal Sewing Machine!)
As you
can see, I followed one of your fashion tips by dressing it up with black and
white checks. I wished to have an entire frock of it, but there was insufficient
yardage...just enough for the lovely cummerbund! It is striking, is it not?
(Every bit as striking as the San Antonio Choral Society women in their dashing checked cumberbunds - vibrating checks are so flattering to a rotund waistline.)
Lastly, as fur sharing, I certainly do not intend to share this delectable dish
with anyone. There is scarcely enough fur me, and knowing how your parties go,
there will be furry little, if any, food!(Yeah, right - nary a crumb after you hit the buffet.)
