10/1/98 Cookie had 4 babies all pink eyed.
I have made some changes. Pookie,Nabisco and Wally went to new homes because they fought with Creamy. Creamy now lives with April.(see Journal 4) I have a new male group in a twenty gallon long tank with 7 gerbils.

Here is Oreo 2, Spotty and Sunkist 2, Sunkist 2 is the Great grandson of Sunkist.
This is Tangerine, Sunkist 2, Oreo 2, and Nimbus a Lilac pied. This picture didn't come out good.
When I switched to Aspen Sunkist 2 developed a sore nose. He might be allergic to Aspen. This was the first time I saw a sore nose. Since, I was a kid. Back then, I didnt know about cedar. I put Sunkist 2, and the other males on Tissues only for several days then added pine shavings. Sunkist 2's nose cleared up and he is fine now.Cookie and April are on Aspen because they have Babies.
10/4/98 April had 3 babies this morning.
10/7/98 Sunkist 2 has developed an allergy to pine. He is now on Carefresh bedding.
Cookies 4 babies are 2 Lilac pied/spotted,1 Lilac, and 1 Red fox pied.
10/11/98 April's three babies are Black, Lilac spotted,and Argente.
10/16/98 Creamy's DEH pied daughter went to live with Ms.Wiz.She will be paired with one of her gerbils.:o)

11/9/98 Cookie had 4 babies today.
11/10/98 April had 5 babies today. This is the first time I've had two litters one day apart.Cookie's babies are bigger.
11/13/98 Creamy's two Argente babies [born Sept 1, 1998 and Oct 4, 1998] went to a new home today. They now live with Hackman,from the Gerbil Mailing List, Margaret (PEW) her three offspring Maggie,Pinky jr and Brain, (PEW) and Brownie/Snowball (Agouti).
11/21/98 Cookie's 4 babies are Red fox pied F,Nutmeg pied M & F, and Lilac F.
April's 5 babies are Agouti pied M & F ,Yellow fox M , Argente F, and Argente pied M.
12/10/98 Cookie had 4 babies.
12/12/98 April and Creamy had 5 babies today.
Cookie's Red fox pied baby [born Nov 9] and April's Yellow fox pied baby [born Nov 10] went to Utah,to live with Troy and his Gerbils Chervil and Hermes.
12/22/98 One of the babies looks just like Creamy,I will name him Little Creamy.
12/27/98 Ms Wiz told me she just watched Faerie ( Creamy's DEH Pied Daughter from his first litter) give birth to 8 squirming red babies.And said the following: Faerie seemed very competent and not a nervous wreck. Some of the babies are definitely very pink and therefore almost certainly going to be DEH's. � Some are darker, and will be agouti or black, if Faerie carries black. I know Brownie her mate does. In the morning, I'll know if there was a 9th baby, or if 8 was it. Personally, I hope there's only 8, so that they'll receive enough nourishment. For the last week, I've been giving Faerie premium dry cat food from my cats' bowl in addition to her Sunseed food, and tonight I gave her a cuttlebone for calcium. They also get green beans, leaf lettuce, and bits of leftover Sabbath carrot pudding (which they loved!). Brownie helped clean off the babies. I told you he was a good father!
1/4/99 April's 5 babies are f Lilac ,m lilac spotted,? nutmeg spotted, f nutmeg pied, and m yellow fox,(Little Creamy.)
