On 2 Oct 1890 when Frederick was 34, he married Christiana (Ina) ZUENDEL, daughter of Frederick ZUENDEL (1842-1906) & Catherine BIETLER (1849-1907), in Verona, Michigan. Born on 30 Apr 1871 in Nagold, Wurttemberg, Germany. Christiana (Ina) died in Harbor Beach, Michigan on 12 Feb 1948; she was 76. Buried on 15 Feb 1948.

Jewel (Julia) married Casey BALLARD. Born abt 1889 in Harbor Beach, Michigan.
iii. Albert. Born on 17 May 1895 in Harbor Beach, Michigan. Albert died in Aug 1957.

On 11 Apr 1917 when Albert was 21, he married Nellie SHEPAN. Born on 29 Jan 1895 in Harbor Beach, Michigan. Nellie died in Nov 1981 in Colombus, Michigan.
iv. William. Born on 30 Aug 1897 in Harbor Beach, Michigan. William died in Prudenville, Michigan on 13 Jun 1977; he was 79.

In 1917 William married Amelia PHELPS. Born abt 1901 in Harbor Beach, Michigan.
v. Herman. Born on 10 Jun 1899. Herman died on 4 Aug 1955; he was 56.
vi. Mabel. Born on 12 Apr 1901 in Harbor Beach, Michigan. Mabel died on 9 Dec 1990; she was 89.

Mabel married Arthur WRIGHT. Born abt 1897 in Harbor Beach, Michigan.
vii. Beatrice. Born on 2 Jul 1903 in Harbor Beach, Michigan. Beatrice died on 6 Oct 1985; she was 82.

On 2 Jul 1948 when Beatrice was 45, she married Clarence BRANDON. Born abt 1899 in Harbor Beach, Michigan.

SCHMYSER, John. Son of John and Paulina (Taylor) Schmyser, natives of
Germany. His father and mother are both deceased and buired in Rock Falls
Cemetery. The subject of this sketch was born in Sanilac County, Mich., Aug
27, 1860. Was married to Minnie Hodgins, daughter of Martin and Eliza
(Wilson) Hodgins. There are six children: Jennie, Ella, Lily, Cecil, Verna
and Myrtle.



On 6 Jan 1892 when John was 31, he married Minnie HODGINS, daughter of Martin HODGINS & Eliza WILSON, in Helena, Michigan. Born in Canada.

They had the following children:
i. Jennie.
ii. Ella. Born abt 1896 in Michigan.

On 2 Aug 1919 Ella married William L. McALLISTER, son of Henry McALLISTER & Emma LUDLOW, in Bad Axe, Michigan. Born abt 1895 in Michigan.
