Henry died Feb 21, 1676, Medfield, Norfolk, MA. He was killed by Indians while standing in the doorway of his home. His wife was accidentally shot the same day at Rev. Wilson's house where she was confined in bed in an upstairs room. A gun in the hands of Capt. John Jacobs accidentally went off in the room below and the ball went through the ceiling and through her bed and so wounded her that she died a week later.
