3.    Susanna (Susan) Thorne (2.Mary², 1.Edward¹) baptized: Mar 5, 1559/60, Yardley Hastings, England, married Jun 8, 1575, in Lidlington, England, Roger Dudley, born c. 1535, London, England, (son of John Dudley and Elizabeth Leighton) died Mar 14, 1590, Battle of Inery, Navarre.  Susanna died Aft. 1588, England.  Roger: Was a captain in Queen Elizabeth's army and was sent to aid Henry of Navarre in establishing his throne.

                      Children:

          14.    i    Thomas Dudley born Oct 12, 1576, Yardley Hastings, England, married (1) Apr 25, 1603, in Hardingstone, England, Dorothy Yorke, born Apr 25, 1582/3, (daughter of Edmund Yorke and Katheryn (?)) died Dec 27, 1643, Roxbury, MA, married (2) Apr 14, 1644, Catherine Hackburn.  Thomas died Jul 31, 1653, Roxbury, MA.  Governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony, serving four terms after emigrating in . 1630.  Was one of the founders of Harvard College.  Arrived on the Arbella - Winthrop Fleet. Dorothy: Came to America in the Winthrop Fleet of 1630.
