John died Oct 11, 1672, Ipswich, Essex, MA. Not to be confused with the Proctors of Virginia. Other children in addition to those listing, but genealogies conflicting as to people and dates. He sailed from England on the ship Susan and Ellen in 1635.

John died Aug 19, 1692, Salem, MA. This is the John Proctor hanged for witchcraft at Gallows Hill, Salem, MA on August 19, 1692. Elizabeth: Probably the Elizabeth Proctor accused of witchcraft with her husband. She was found guilty, but because she was pregnant, she was not executed in Aug. The child was born Jan 27th following, but Governor Phips reprieved her.
