Amelia Ann (a daughter) is found in Marvel genealogy, having married a Marvel (William) c. 1851. Mahlon: This Mahlon apparently was at war ( War w/Tripoli)when father sold blacksmith shop in Port Elizabeth. 1880 census shows J.B.Foster's Father b. DE. They apparently moved to Philadelphia so as to be in 1820 Pennsylvania Census. Listed as enlisting May 7, 1802, age 22. after serving on Frigate "President" (Jan 19, 1804), gunboat #4 in Tunis Bay (Aug 1, 1805) was discharged May 7, 1807.
