1. Thomas Makepeace born 1593, married 1647, Mary Chase, (daughter of Benjamin Chase and Phillippa Sherman). Thomas died Jan/Feb 1667, Dorchester, MA. Probably came from Bristol, England, or near there, in 1635, as his name is with those of Robert Salttonstall, William Whiting, Major Humphrey Atherton and others, 85 in all, of the second emigration from Europe. In Sept 25, 1637, he received a grant of land in Boston MA.
