Served as Pvt in the 6th Company, 6th Battalion, Lancaster Co., PA militia, under Capt. Joseph Walker and Col. James Taylor. Emigrated to KY in 1790's, then OH in 1802. Was with George Rogers Clark at Old Town (Old Chillicothe, and Indian village) in 1780 with other Kentickians. . Came with large contingent from Rev. Armstrong's church. Elizabeth: SAR Ref.
