5.    Job (Jobe) Lane (4.James4, 3.George3, 2.Thomas2, 1.Robert1) born 1620, Hertfordshire, England, married (1) Sarah Royce, died 1659, Malden MA, married (2) July 2, 1660, in Malden, MA, Hannah (Anna) Reyner, born C. 1632, Hertfordshire, England, (daughter of John Reyner and Anna Boyse) died Apr 30, 1704, Malden, MA.  Job died Aug 23, 1697, Malden, MA.  Published records of the Lane family date to 1524, and it is thought that one member of the Lane family went to England with William the Conqueror in 1066. Served in King Philip's War Sarah: WFT calls her Sarah Boyer, d. May 19, 1659, b. England Hannah: WFT incorrectly calls her Keyner

Susanna: John and Susanna were 2nd cousins

Oct 7. 1680 Dorchester, MA.  Their child James Foster b. Dec 8, 1698, Dorchester, MA m. Priscilla Paul

          22.    i    Nathaniel Page born May 22, 1729, Billerica, MA, married 1774, Sarah Brown, born 1747, died 1839.  Nathaniel died Jul 31, 1819.  Listed as SAR Patriot, serving as Pvt, MA Militia, Continental Army, Minute Man.  SAR# 038982 SAR Ref. File #11564 CA.GED.  Gives birth date as June 20, 1742 in Bedford, Middlesex, MA. He carried the "Bedford Flag" Apr 19, 1775 at Lexington, which appeared c. 1687 in Bedford area and remained in possession of Page family.  Reportedly replacement flag for Three County Troop (Essex, Sussex, Middlesex) a colonial militia active during Indian Wars.  The 5th Comm. Officer carried flag and was traditionally called "Cornet". DAR Ref 8465, 15000

          24.    iii   Hannah Page born May 15, 1732/6, Bedford, MA, married Jan 5, 1758, in Billerica, MA, Jonas French, born Mar 18, 1731/2, Billerica, MA, (son of William French and Joanna Hill) died Feb 9, 1801, Billerica, MA, buried: Old South Cemetery, Billerica, MA.  Hannah died Apr 2, 1793, Billerica, MA, buried: Old South Cemetery, Billerica, MA.

          25.    iv   David Page born Apr 4, 1740, married Abigail Jones.  David died Jun 11, 1819.

          26.    v    William Page born Feb 19, 1737/8, married Patte Hill.  William died Feb 10, 1802.

          27.    vi   Susanna Page born Jan 22, 1742, died Jan 26, 1772.

          28.    vii  Abigail Page born Sep 15, 1744/5, Bedford MA, married Feb 7, 1765/6, Nathaniel Bowman Brown, born July 1, 1737, Lexington MA, (son of Daniel Brown and Anna Bright) died July 30, 1806, Plymouth VT, buried: Plymouth Notch Cemetery.  Abigail died Aug 5, 1799, Plymouth VT, buried: Plymouth Notch Cemetery.  Nathaniel: one of 12,000 Minute Men - fought in battle of Bennington. He resided in Lexington, MA until 1722, when he moved to Lunenburg, MA, where they remained for 17 years.  They then moved to Plymouth VT, where he was the 4th settler of the town, known then as Saltash.  His first home was a log cabin at the head of Lake Amherst, not far from where the soldiers camped during the Revolution on their way to Crown Point. The post office was in his house, the first town meetings and church were also held there. DAR 22684

DAR Ref. 8465
