Edward died BF Oct 1655, Southampton, LI, NY. First record of him in US ia as a freeman of Boston, Mar 13, 1640. He then received a 500 acre land grant from King Charles I at Lynn, MA, where he moved, but on April 13, 1640 he was one of the three proprietors who obtained authorization to occuoy 8 square miles on any part of Long Island, NY, which was then part of CT. He moved there (Southampton, NY) in June or July of 1640

The name has been corrupted into "Dimon" and "Demming". His grandson (John).

Zelopheard died MAY 1732/3, Cape May, NJ. ColFamCapeMay calls him Zelofead and indicates "probable son". He recorded his ear mark on Nov 12, 1708 and later his son Nathanl's. Sarah: She was apparently previously married, since Zelopheard left legacy to her son Jacob. Her will, dated Feb 13, 1732 and proved May 10, 1733 mentioned son Jacob left 1/2 of estate which she had inherited from her husbnad (1/3rd of his estate) with the other half going to son Jeremiah (since he apparently was b. after father's death and had no inheritance from him.).
