John died c. 1774, Kent, Litchfield Co. CT. LDS says died before Oct 30, 1800 in Washington, Litchfield, CT. Another genealogy says he was b. c. 1692. Sarah: Some genealogies have a Sarah Webster m. John Keeney b. 1699 as second wife after 1st wife (Mercy Smith) d. in 1747. However, this Sarah Webster , w. of this John m. him in 1736 and had three children before 1747 (the last child aft. 1746 when Mary was born). Altho it is possible that there were two Sarah Websters, this one fits dates better.

Mark died Oct 3/7, 1804, Laceyville, Wyoming Co. PA, buried: Lacy Street Cemetery, Lacyville, PA. Birth and death places per Harold Witter, Central NY Genealogical Society. DAR states he was born in Litchfield, CT. Mark Keeney was a soldier in the French and Indian wars and in the Revolution. He was one of the first settlers of Lacyville PA. first known as Keeney's Landing , arriving in 1790. SAR File Ref #7858IJK.GED. SAR lists as Patriot. DAR Ref 15282. LDS says born Litchfield Co., CT Abigail: Some genealogies list her as Abigail B. Lee. So there might be a question as whether she was previously married to a (?) Lee.
