He resided in Lexington, MA until 1722, when he moved to Lunenburg, MA, where they remained for 17 years.  They then moved to Plymouth VT, where he was the 4th settler of the town, known then as Saltash.  His first home was a log cabin at the head of Lake Amherst, not far from where the soldiers camped during the Revolution on their way to Crown Point. The post office was in his house, the first town meetings and church were also held there. DAR 22684

Calvin: Calvin was 3 years old when he arrived in the valley of the West Owego Creek in 1800 after his father returned to MA to bring his family to the new settlement.

Orpha died May 17, 1924.  Is probably Louisa O. age 32 in 1865 census.  All Tioga Co. records have her as Louisa O. Daniel: listed as living with Calvin in 1855 (age 32) and son age 8. Built the Jenksville Steam Mill in 1879 for sawing lumber and threshing grain.  In the fall of 1882, the steam grist mill was built by Jenks and Nixon (a name found in the Speedsville Cemetery records).

Jenks born 1847, died 1847, Speedsville, Tompkins, NY, buried: Speedsville Cemetery, Lot #02-Old.  She is not listed in any Jenks genealogy, however, since she is buried in the same plot as Daniel B. and his wife Nancy, we are assuming that she is an unrecorded child. Speedsville Cemetery records mis-identify her as a Humphrey, since they are in the same plot.

          118.  v    Anson Lee Jenks born May 9, 1862, Caroline, Tompkins, NY, married Dec 23, 1886, in Speedsville, NY, Mary Blackman, born Dec 23, 1865, Speedsville, Tompkins, NY, (daughter of William Henry Blackman and Maryann (Marion) Tracy) died Nov 23, 1914.  Anson died 1934, Ithaca, NY.

NY, married June 22, 1845, Daniel Loring Jenks, born Apr 15, 1820, Spencer, MA., (son of Isaac Riley Jenks and Dolly Loring). Emily died Feb 18, 1880.  Listed as living with Calvin and husband and son Charles L. in 1855. Daniel: listed as living with Calvin in 1855 (age 32) and son age 8. Built the Jenksville Steam Mill in 1879 for sawing lumber and threshing grain.  In the fall of 1882, the steam grist mill was built by Jenks and Nixon (a name found in the Speedsville Cemetery records).

Sylvester: Listed in the 1887/8 Berkshire Directory as a farmer in Jenksville.

(Keeny) Keeney and Eliza Wetmore) died Nov 22, 1900, Newton Center MA.  Stillman died May 19, 1872, Ionia, MI.  They moved to Michigan in 1853 from Caroline NY.. Sophia: Brown has parents names wrong (per Louise Jenks).  Her name and parents are proper here. Possibly b. Jun 30, 1828.
