He first settled at Watertown in the area that later became Cambridge, MA. Mercy: By confusing turn of events, the Brighams married into the Rice and Howe families, then the Howe family married back into the Hunt family, so by the time that Mercy's GGGGranddaughter Sarah (wife of Michael Jenks), Mercy and all three of her husbands were ancestors of Sarah. (per Catherine Deming).

Elizabeth: This is possibly the Elizabeth Howe, of Ipswich, who was hanged as a witch at Gallows Hill, Salem, MA on July 19, 1692 with Susanna Martin, although. Catherine Deming says she died Jul, 1739 age 79 years, and daughter of Abraham Howe and Hannah Ward.

The history of the Crosbys can be traced in an unbroken line from 1440 down to Simon, who came to New England on the Susan & Ellen in 1635. He settled in Cambridge, MA where he died 4 years later. Catherine Deming says she was killed by Indians. There were several children, only two whose names are known. John: He apparently married after the death of Mary to possibly Susanna Shattuck who then married Thomas Brigham (brother of Mary) as his second wife.
