1. William Brandon occupation Knight, married Elizabeth Wingfield, (daughter of Robert Wingfield and Elizabeth Goushill). There may have been one other daughter, who married a Manning (in England) through whom (female lineages) many other New England families are descended (Whitefield, Higginson, Lee through one lineage, and Waters, Proctor, Felton, Porter, Putnam, Shillaber, Poole, Benson and Whittredge through another lineage).
