1998 was the inaugural year of the Sweepstakes! Your show committee was overwhelmed by the initial response to this initiative - it’s obvious that this is an event long overdue here on the West Coast!  In 1999 the show reached new heights as we filled Tradex in Abbotsford for a full schedule of events.  The herdsire parades, fashion show, marketplace, and dinner were highlights of the two day event.  Now in the year 2000, our event will be held at the Murray Creek Ranch in Langley, B.C., one of the best equestrian facilities in Canada.

This is a unique opportunity open to llama and alpaca breeders to showcase their top young show stock, and in doing so, establish the prepotence of their breeding sires and dams. Here is your chance to show what your farm’s breeding program has produced!  All entry fees are returned to the nominees in the form of prize money.   The Sweepstakes committee are all volunteers, and the  show itself is paid for entirely by sponsorship by breeders, companies and other individuals.
