Our third girl was born June 20, 2000 at 12 noon.  She was literally running within two hours of birth, and hasn't stopped since.  Petite like her mother, she is covered in tight curls reminiscent of a Persian lamb coat.
Tinkerbell has stunning colouring, taking after both mom and dad.  Her mother and father are each two time Grand Champion winners. Here's a girl to watch in the future!

Lazurus wasn't born here but he came to Xanadu shortly after birth, on June 20/2000, and he just keeps getting better and better.

His first act was to jump into our pond and almost drown.  Lazarus spent the next few hours in the bathtub and under a hairdryer being brought back up to normal body temperature. 

Only after we purchased Lazarus did we realize that he is the nephew of our stud, PF Carlos and a grandson of Senor Rojo.   No wonder he has those fabulous looks! 

Take a good look at this future show stopper!

This handsome boy was born August 13th at 5 p.m.  Dad and mom both have phenomenal ears and guess what this little guy has?  Yup, two of the best ears in the business.  He has matured into an interesting combination of dark grey and deep brown.   He has curls from head to toe, courtesy of his dad.  Twenty eight pounds at birth, up dry and nursing within half an hour.

Teeny tiny is the only way to describe this little girl, born August 29th.  We saw her when she was only two days old, and approximately 14 lbs.   Everything about her is petite.  We brought her home to Xanadu Farms three days later and hovered over her till she started gainng weight.  She is now growing like mad, has personality plus and lots of attitude. She is the ringleader for the other crias when they start their games. What a great addition to our herd!

Talk about a chip off the old block! This is  a Hughie girl right down to her toes!  She was born on September 17, 2000 in the morning, and was up running around when we found her. Magic weighed 25 1/2 lbs and has gained steadily since birth.  She has that unique Hughie "sheen" to her coat - she literally shines in the sun.

Wow!  This one is a keeper!  Look at those ears!  This little girl was born on September 21st 2000.  She weighed 19.5 lbs at birth and was up and running in minutes.  She has wonderful crimpy fibre right down to her toes, and she is a wonderful, unique rose-grey colour.

Another little girl, named after the most famous female pirate of all time!  Born on September 22, 2000, this little one weighed in at 20 lbs.  Thanks to Marilyn Ross of Sterling Farms for her fabulous stud, Buccaneer.  Anne Bonny has wonderful ears, and incredibly long, soft fibre - just like daddy!  She's got peach and grey on her back end. 

Our little daredevil boy - so curious about everything!  He weaves and jumps then comes back to find out what you're doing.  He has so much fibre that it stands out sideways, as if he'd stuck his tail in a light socket.  He is already showing the championship style of his father, Hughes Rising Starr.

Black Moon weighed 27 lbs at birth on October 11, 2000.  He is dark brown with a patch of red and white at the throat, with unique red "stripes" across his back.

Another girl!  This little cutie came to us at the age of three weeks.  Born September 19, 2000, Cat Ballou has stunning colouring and a cute personality.  She has excellent bone structure, wonderful bloodlines and a "show stance" no matter where you see her.

Our last baby of the year has arrived, and he's very big!!  Born on November 2, 2000 to our largest female, Sidney is HUGE!  He weighed in at 31 lbs.  Up dry and nursing almost immediately, Sidney never looked back!

He is a beautiful appaloosa with a beige coloured coat, and black and brown spots.  Sidney is in fact our FIRST appaloosa.  What a looker!
