Bertille Susan Reinart

Bertille was born on 5 November 1910 at Axtell, Nebraska. As a teenager she worked for a time at H.A. Matt in Carroll, Iowa, and later for her Uncle, John Hoffert, in Minneapolis. She married Leo (Bud) Thielen on 6 March 1934 and moved to a farm near Manning, Iowa. Together they had four children:

1- Melvin Peter Thielen (26 November 1934)

2- Raymond Peter Thielen (27 November 1937)

3- Marjorie Ann Thielen (3 August 1943) - Married Wendelin Feilmeier on 13 February 1965. Together they had two children: Cindy and Thomas.

4- Daniel Leo Thielen (18 February 1952) - Married Nylene Freese on 25 April 1973. Together they had three children: Jan, Mary, Joseph.
