WHAT MATTERS 5/25/95

I wrote this for a woman I came close to having an affair with, once we were both glad we didn't.

She asked me to write one "for her" after reading all the ones I'd written. When I wrote it, I wasn't trying to justify why love and faithfulness matter. I just came out this way.
