Cathy and Vera,                                                                                                                                                                               January 23, 2002

 

          Luke and Kate will be transferring to Sevier County Schools on February 4, 2002. While “my” Cathy was in a temporary, one-semester position we felt it best to leave the kids in Blount County Schools. Now that she has a permanent position (K-3 Resource at Pigeon Forge Primary; enjoying it so far), we are going to travel with the kids and get them on our same schedule each day.

 

          We’ve enjoyed our connection with Blount County Schools and have seen Luke and Kate make a lot of gains over the years. The highlight reel goes through my head as I write. I’m happy to say this move is more for convenience than necessity. Although Blount County passed on its chance to hire either of us before we applied anywhere else, Cathy and I hold no grudges.

 

          Kate will be moving to Pigeon Forge Middle (where I am with inclusive 7th grade Math) and Luke will be down the hill at Pigeon Forge High.
