Stephen COOPER was born in England abt 1852 and came to Michigan abt 1871. He married Maria KENNEDY b: 15 Jun 1854 in the 3 mile limit of Ireland, d: 1 Feb 1924 Putnam Twp, Livingston Co, MI. ****See Kennedy Family****

He disappeared bef 1880 and nobody heard from him after. Rumors have it that none of the neighbors liked him because he treated Maria bad and so he disappeared.
