 | But Peaches had already grabbed the Death Cap Mushroom and pushed the button for the Lift. She dashed away from Gregor as he tried to stop her. She crashed headlong into Stephanie who was sitting with Sheena under the Pear Tree, and Gregor collided with them all of them. | |
 | "What's the matter," gasped Stephanie. "What in Albia is going on," demanded Sheena. So Peaches and Gregor poured out the whole story. | |
| | It just so happened that Sheena and Stephanie, who were both multilobed Grenorns, were having a profound discussion about alternate planes of existence when Peaches and Gregor stumbled upon them. They had been talking about the way the Hand clicks on a button and "Save the World" happens at the end of each day. They were talking about the phenomenon of "Export" and about the rumor of a new Albia. | |
