TN. Sheriff Deed to Thomas Biddle (6 Mar 1869); attachment to the estate of
Samuel Chilton, for his interest as a heir at law of estate of James Chilton,
issued from the Circuit Court on 1 Aug 1865 (suit of W.D. Sinard), could imply
Samuel was then deceased. An S.R. Chilton, 4th Sgt..age 24, is listed in the
Muster Roll September 1, 1862 of COMPANY D 12th BATTALION TENNESSEE CAVALRY
VOLUNTEERS "CONFEDERATE", organized at Morristown by Capt. D.C JACKSON. [Lana
