Following are the requirements that must be met before a cat may be listed in the following section:

A copy of the report from a veterinary cardiologist will be mailed to the list manager and must meet the following requirements:

• The test must include an echocardiogram and/or echocardiogram/Doppler. X-rays are not sufficient to make an adequate diagnosis.
• The report must include the age of the cat at the time of screening
• The report must be signed by the cardiologist.
• The report must state "clear of evidence of HCM at this time" (a "good prognosis" only means the doctor doesn't expect an early death).
• The breeder must list the cat's full registered name and the names of the parents.
• A copy of the cat's registration must be included for verification.
