Fair warning

The crowd of dancers, musicians, fools, loved ones and assorted hangers-on gathers at the Centre Street Gate, where at length Jeff Bigler (center) announces the Orders of the Day. After the Winster Processional, massed "Highland Mary" and "Balance the Straw," and off to the tour sites.

Back at Centre Street Gate for show and massed dances, including (L-R, top) Great Meadows Morris and Sword, Red Herring Morris and Jack in the Green and (L-R, bottom) MOTley Morris and Commonwealth Morris Men.

(L-R) Beside the Point, Red Herring, Rose Galliard, MOTley and Candyrapper in the afternoon performance.

The Gay Blades unveiled their unique rapper sword version of "The Wizard of Oz," complete with a Dorothy (L), a Wicked Witch (C) and, of course, a chase scene.

Plaudits to Jay, the fool for Jack in the Green, who spent all day running children of all ages, shapes, sizes and numbers through the middle of the set. That is, when he wasn't using bicycles or other devices.

Bending elbows and ears at Doyle's, we say "Finis" to another successful Lilac Sunday.
