Hi Aunt Jean I'm still hoping to find more information on the MD Ruarks that you have listed. Elgate Ruark had a daughter Martha Ann who married William Eshom in 1805 and soon there after this family moved to KY. Martha was Williams second or third wife. (but no his last). Elgates father Ezekiel also married an Eshom either Rachel or Betty daughters of Solomon Eshom b 1716 (Williams Grandfather). Both daughter or shown as Ruarks in Solomons will. I am doing the JACKSON family tree. And have David Jackson from Ireland, and in the Rev. War in Pen. They moved to S.C. after the war of 1812. And fought in the Civil War, there, some came to Texas, some stayed in S.C.

I am interested in Saint Elmo Cannon who m. Mary Elizabeth (Frady) Bouldin, Campbell, they divorced in Burnet Co., TX in 1882. Custody of their infant daughter ,Carrie was awarded to Mary, but my families history has no record of this infant. I would like to find out what happened to Carrie Cannon.
