So I Stand

by Remembrance

I stand here quietly.
Watching the ages,
Waiting for the time,
The time that allows me to enter.

I am alone,
Yet not.
I feel her spirit.
The one that I'll serve till the end.

It is because of her,
That I stand and wait.
For her gentle soul,
And nurturing nature.

She spreads love and harmony,
To all who wish it?
She gives without thinking.

I am lucky.
I know she'll come,
And give me serenity,
I so crave.

So I stand,
And wait.
In anxiously,
For her to arrive.
