The Duel of Shinay Loreseeker
The Duel of Shinay Loreseeker
In Neriak town, his face set in a frown,
Lived an inkie called Galdas reaker.
He had a strife, the fight of his life,
With Shinay Loreseeker!
But his daughter-mage, created an image,
So Shinay turned to face her.
Faced by his back, Galdas could attack
So by a dirty, underhand trick.
With a sabre slash, he settled Shinays hash,
And never was victory so quick.
And Shinays gore, on the forest floor,
Grew cluttered, and still, and thick.
Ah but Galdas was glad, that hed done what he had,
As Shinay lay cold, and still.
But his heart was filled, at the thought of Shinays guild,
Their revenge gave him an icy chill.
So, full of hate, he thought to cheat his fate,
And resolved, himself, to kill.
He took the cloak, from around Shinays throat,
And he twisted it into a noose.
He hung himself, from his own top shelf,
So that he could not come loose.
With his dying breath, on the jaws of death,
On Erud, he heaped abuse.
But the strangest turn, of the whole concern,
Is only just beginning.
He went to Hell, but Shinay got well,
And hes still alive and winning!
For the saber blade, was Dark Elf made,
But the cloak was best Odus linen!
