The Portuguese National Stadium was built between 1939 and 1944 and hosted the European Cup final in 1967, a game that Celtic fans don't forget. The Lisbon Lions beat Inter Milan by 2-1. Currently is only used for the final of the Portuguese Cup and athletics. The final of the Portuguese Cup is a special day for all the visiting fans.
During the 90's the stadium was made all seated and now hosts 37.000 spectators.

How to get there
You can go to the National Stadium by train or by bus. By train, use the Cruz Quebrada train station in Cascais Line and then a 10 minute walk. By bus, the number 76 stops near.
Around the stadium
Take again the train and go back to Belém or head to Cascais.
