Who are They

The Star of Amadora is a regular presence in the top division since the 90's, but usually fighting against the drop. Their best performance was winning the Portuguese Cup in 1990.

Technically not Lisbon, but a 20 min travel from Lisbon downtown. Estrela play at the José Gomes Stadium, a very compact stadium that usually is empty. In the past it holded 20.000 but their official capacity now is only 9.000. The stadium is named after a former president.
