Who are They

Two rival clubs from the industrial town of Barreiro, in the other margin of the river. Both clubs enjoyed a lot of success in the past, but now lay at the low divisions. During their period of success, Fabril was named CUF, the name of the industrial complex whose members founded the club.

Stadium

The stadium was opened in 1965 and is named in honor of the industrial who founded CUF. It holds 22.000 all-seated spectators.

Barreirense sold their famous old stadium and now groundshare with Fabril. They hope to build a new one, but until the project of a new bridge between Lisbon and Barreiro is completed the stadium wouldn't be built. The project crosses the Barreirense terrains.
