We need independent thinkers who follow halacha but who are not afraid to voice their own opinion on controversial issues.
They are willing to be true leaders despite the fact that they may lose their popularity as a result of it.
The best leaders maintain their popularity and they draw others into their own high ideals and goals even though it means taking a risk. As a result of which they become the true leaders of tomorrow's Judaism.
This is hard and difficult and rare to find.
