You may not understand the arrogant personality, and you probably won't understand its opposite, the meek personality.
In effect, they are really both the identical personality. They are the same. Someone who is arrogant could just as well have been meek and someone who is meek could just as well been arrogant.
When observing a meek person, it may be interesting to consider why he or she did not turn into an arrogant person. What circumstances in their background or family or heredity led them to choose a meek persona when they just as well could have gone the other direction.
Is a meek personality better or worse than an arrogant personality?
There's no real answer to this. They are both extremes and they are interesting studies.
What is important is their contrasts.
