Immigrant Jews who remain in Israel are better and stronger than those who leave. They are quite welcome in the country.
All of those who have stayed have identical, uniting characteristics. They came with a decision that Israel is their new home. They have a positive attitude and a smile on their faces. They were also happy with the grass on the other side of the Atlantic.
On the other hand, you can identify those will failed:
All of them failed. All of them returned to their country of origin.
Perhaps we should clarify what is meant by the word "all" in the preceding paragraph. That word means that 100% of my acquaintances who came to "try it out" in Israel failed, and they returned. That's right - I do not know of a single exception to this astounding finding.
Israel's tax breaks, shipping allowances, language and training lessons, and other perks for immigrants don't make a difference. Those "benefits" certainly cannot compare with the economical advantages offered just by staying in a home country.
To the contrary. The USA does not offer benefits. It plays hard to get.
Hmmm... maybe that's the secret.
