


Israel fondly copies the woes of other school systems, especially those in the United States. We are fond of saying that whatever experimental methods failed in the States will eventually make its way to Israel as school policy.
That doesn't mean that Israel doesn't try its own experiments. A great deal of money is thrown into experimental schools that place Jews and Arabs together in order to prove that peace can work.
Of course it can. However, some of the graduates of those schools have already grown up. Has anybody done a follow-up study on the resulting peace? The schools are a success; peace failed.
