For a small country, it may be amazing how many different regions are featured in Israel.
Tel Aviv is a case in point. It was a religious neighborhood in the not-too-distant past. That has changed, but the city still retains the same street names and some aspects of its past.
Safed has a fascinating past. The old city, with its Kabbalistic centers, meets the new city, with its modern apartments.
Jerusalem and some other cities demonstrate their special reverence for the outstanding religious nature.
All of these cities, and others, are in a constant state of flux. This change affects their culture, manner of speech, and language.
In other cases, the temperature and vegetation affect the lifestyle of the city.
